  The year 5's have had a great two days: writing recipes for their cooking task, making the well dressing, having a sport filled afternoon, minibeast hunting, dragonfly and bee making, reading and art on the field!

  Over the last week our Year 6 children have been in the community spreading kindness. Our Well Dressing this year is based on kindness and courage.

• Kindness Week

  What an amazing start to the week!

  We have had a wonderful morning in year 6: making kindness posters and finding kindness books in Belper library, taking the donations, sorting them and getting food on the shelves at the food bank and having a slightly damp walk into Belper - going into the shops and handing out our kindness posters and cards made by children from nursery to year 6. Keep a look out for them when you are out and about!

• Grandparent Lunch

  Thank you to all Grandparents who have attended today's lunch. Delicious food was served by Mr Hine and our Catering Team followed by a playtime session, a wonderful time was had by all. It was lovely to see the children and their Grandparents sharing this time together. Due to the success of the afternoon we will be holding more of these events in the future, please look out for details on the School App, Newsletters and Calendar. 

  

• Halle

  Mon 19 Jun 2023

  Maple class had a wonderful afternoon at Derby Arena, playing with the Halle Orchestra and several hundred other children!  They sang and played their flutes brilliantly, and their positive behaviour was also noted by others there.  Well done Year 4 - we are really proud of you.

• Spring Fair 2023

  A fabulous turn at the PTA Spring Fair. A great time was had by all. A huge thank you goes out to our PTA and all involved who generously donated their time and prizes. The final total raised is still be calculated and will be shared as soon as possible.
