Safeguarding at Long Row

Long Row Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. It is everyone's responsibility.

Leader for Special Needs and disabilities ( SENDCO) is Mrs Smurthwaite

 

All teaching, support staff and governors complete annual training and have read and follow the guidance set out in Keeping Children Safe in Education. Designated Safeguarding Leads complete updates and attend termly forums. All staff in school, including regular visitors and volunteers have a DBS check in line with National and local advice and legislation.
