  The Super Seahorses really enjoyed their trip to Belper Library this week. Thank you to Janet for welcoming us and organising fun activities. Some children were even inspired to go back after school with their parents to borrow books!

• Spring Fair

  A wonderful time was had by all at yesterdays Spring fair. A huge thank you to our PTA, all Volunteers and staff for their hard work to make the event happen. It was great to see so many of you and your extended family.

   

  We are still awaiting the final balance but well over £2,000.00 has been raised for the school/PTA! Thank you all so much for your generosity!

• Key Stage 2 pupils and the Poet- trees

  As part of our 'Create' term, all of the Key Stage 2 pupils have enjoyed visiting the Poet- trees in St. Peter's churchyard. Having read the poems, the children completed a quiz.

  Thursday 26th May. 3.15— 6pm Long Row PTA want to put together an amazing Spring Fair this year. We thought it would be a great opportunity to showcase all the fantastic talent of the children, parents and teachers at Long Row School. If you have a song, a poem, a speech, a dance, a musical instrument a short play or anything creative at all you would like to share, then please get in touch and book a slot! The theme of the Fair is the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee if you wanted inspiration, however, you can perform anything of your choice. Slots will be a maximum of 10 mins.

• Y3 Jubilee Fleet Arts Project

  Last week we welcomed the Fleet Arts into school to work on the Jubilation School Art Exhibition. 

  Here are a few pictures from the day. 

   

  The stamps are now ready, and will be installed in No 28 on the Market Place from the 14^th May until the 5^th June. The art work will be available to be viewed at various events at No 28, such as  the Saturday Market,  and the main Fleet Arts Jubilee event for ALL to participate in, on the 3^rd June.
