On Sunday 23 April at 3pm the government will test its national emergency alert system.
An emergency alert is a loud, siren-like sound with a message on your mobile phone screen to alert you if there’s a danger to life nearby and to give advice about how to stay safe.
You may get alerts about:
severe flooding
fires
extreme weather.
Emergency alerts will only be sent by: the emergency services, government departments, agencies and public bodies that deal with emergencies.
Victims of domestic abuse, who may have a hidden phone, can opt out of receiving the alerts on their hidden device and still receive warning messages on a device that's not hidden.

We explored the area and looked at all the nature, the children were super excited when we found a ladybird!
