Year 4 Music Opportunities - Stringed Instruments

Despite all the challenges we have faced in school, the children in Year 4 have been really lucky to have been able to continue with their Wider Opportunities Music sessions this year.  The sessions, delivered by Mr Barks, are incredibly enjoyable and it's been wonderful to see the Year 4 children develop their musicianship skills alongside playing stringed instruments.

As we near the end of the academic year, there is now the opportunity for the current Year 4 children to continue on their musical journey by having individual or small group instrument lessons.  Mr Barks is able to offer tuition for a range of stringed instruments.  Please see the attached documents for more information on how to contact Mr Barks directly, or you can also ask Mrs Z-B for a copy of the information.

Natasha Marsh - Believe (Written by Lin Marsh) [Official Video]

As a whole school we had been learning the song 'Believe' that was written by Lin Marsh, and sung here by her daughter Natasha.

Lin Marsh taught Mrs Z-B how to sing when she was younger, and Natasha was pleased to hear that we are putting this song on our web page at this time.

Stunning Starfish sang this song together before the end of school on Friday 20th March. The words and message of the song are important to remember.
